Pablo Reyna, 84, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Solara Specialty Hospitals - McAllen. He was born on a Saturday, January 25, 1936 in Guadalupe Cazar, San Luis Potosi to Lino Reyna and Simona Palomo Reyna. He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Reynaldo Reyna and brothers; Lorenzo and Santos Reyna.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years; Paula De La Rosa Reyna, children; Lydia (Jose Manuel) Puentes, Abel (Marcia) Reyna, Yolanda Reyna, Reymundo (Norma) Reyna, Armando (Karen Burgess) Reyna, Rosalinda Reyna, Alejandro (Soryma) Reyna, Fernando (Martha) Reyna, Sonia (Jeffrey) Chambless, Reyes (Sam) Reyna, Omar (Fabiola) Reyna and Criselda (Amado) Cavazos, 30 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pablo lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. He enjoyed farming, gardening, but most importantly spending time with his family. He was a loving and humble gentleman. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will receive friends on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Michael Castillo, Josiah Alanis, Joel Reyna, Edgar Reyna, Omar Reyna and Fernando Reyna. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
