Pablo Sanchez

Pablo Sanchez, 84, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 4, 2020 at his residence with his family surrounding him. He was born on Wednesday, June 26, 1935 in Puerto Rico, Texas to Antonio Sanchez and Emilia Gutierrez Sanchez. He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law; Jose Andres Perez, brothers; Israel and Adan Sanchez, sisters-in-law; Maria Rita Sanchez.
Pablo is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; Juana Maria Luna Sanchez, children; Leonardo (Maria Guadalupe) Moreno, Mary Sanchez Perez, Diana (Ernest) Cantu, Antonio (Norma) Sanchez, Michael Ray Sanchez and Eric Lee Sanchez, sisters; Maclovia (Manuel) Enriquez, Consuelo (Saturnino) Zuniga, brothers; Jorge (Beatriz) Sanchez and Raul Sanchez, sisters-in-law; Maria Elena Sanchez and Margarita Sanchez, 17 - grandchildren, 8 - great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pablo lived in Edinburg all of his life and was a member of Capilla San Jose Catholic Church in Lull. He worked all his life in the citrus and produce industry and was a jack of all traits. He enjoyed doing mechanics, carpentry and electrical work. You could always find him in his backyard Bar-b-quing and listening to his favorite music from Country Roland, Vicente Fernandez, Johnny Cash and Conway Twitty. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those who lives he touched.
His family will receive friends today, Wednesday, May 6, 2020 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. A Catholic graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Tony Sanchez, Leonardo Moreno, Michael Sanchez, Eric Lee Sanchez, Derek Perez, James Escobedo, Paul Sanchez, Justin Escobedo and Ernest Cantu. Funeral services were entrusted to his godson; Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
