Pedro “Pedrito” Pulido, 81 entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born on January 18, 1931 to Jose Santos Pulido and Julia Regalado Pulido in Edinburg, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Jose Pulido, Sr., Adelmiro Pulido, Luz Pulido, and Leonel Pulido, and nephew; Martin Pulido.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years; Agapita Ramos Pulido, sons; Pedro (Pat) Pulido, Jr., Jose Heron Pulido, Jesus Sergio (Melinda) Pulido, and George Alberto (Veronica) Pulido, daughters; Maria (Armando, Sr.) Marez, Elida (Mario, Sr.) Escamilla, and Agapita Pulido, brothers; Aron and Federico Pulido, sister; Maria Singleterry, 9 – grandchildren, 11 – great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pedro was a very humble man who always provided for his family and taught them about family values. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family. He loved spending time caring for his dogs, playing Bingo and scratching lottery tickets, listening to music and watching on television “Los Accordiones Del Valle”. He will be missed by his family and all those who knew him.
The Pulido Family will receive friends today, July 8, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian Mass will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Having the honor to serve as pallbearers will be Pedro Pulido, Jose Heron Pulido, George Alberto Pulido, Armando Marez, Jr., Mario Escamilla, Jr., and Pete Jay Pulido. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
