Pedro Trevino, also known as “Don Core”, 81, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at his home in Faysville, Texas. He was born on January 18, 1935 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, MX.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rafael Trevino; mother Victoria Trevino; and daughter San Juanita Trevino.
Pedro is survived by his spouse, San Juana R. Trevino; his sons, Jesse A. Trevino (Sirey); Joe Trevino (Haydee); his daughters, Gloria (John) Villarreal; Rosita (Emigdio) Bustos; Victoria Young; Corie Carr; Ida (Tim) Bloklander; Sanjuana Trevino; Raquel (Pablo) Cervantes; Teodora (Manuel) Zambrano; Herminda Trevino; Olgalidia Trevino; Marta A. Trevino and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
“Don Core’s” extended family includes his friends at Los Laurels Adult Day Care where he enjoyed sharing his words of wisdom, humorous stories, playing bingo, and sharing a Coke and a smile.
We would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time. A visitation will be held today, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 205 East Jefferson Avenue in Faysville, Texas. Catholic burial will follow to El Cibolo Cemetery in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
