Rafael Deonicio De Los Santos

Rafael Deonicio "Nicho" De Los Santos, 59, entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 03, 2016 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Monday, April 29, 1957 in Edinburg, Texas to Francisco De Los Santos and Maria Garcia De Los Santos. He is preceded in death by his father.
Nicho is survived by his loving wife of 32 years; Sandra Salinas De Los Santos, daughter; Alexandra De Los Santos, son; Joel Deonicio De Los Santos, mother; Maria G. De Los Santos, brothers; Jorge (Engracia) Guzman, Eleazar De Los Santos and Guadalupe (Leticia) De Los Santos, sister; Rosalinda "Rosie" (Jorge) Garza.
He lived in Edinburg all of his life and enjoyed spending time in his yard and bar-b-quing with his family. He was a hard worker. He worked at the Cattle Baron in Edinburg in his younger years. He worked as a truck driver for Newpark Drilling for over 12 years and was presently employed with B & H Trucking in Palmview. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family received friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be held today, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Joel Deonicio De Los Santos, Miguel De Los Santos, Gilbert Salinas, Johnny Salinas, Omar Garza and Luis Guzman. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
