Raquel Mancias Rodriguez

Raquel "Nonnie" Rodriguez, 89, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born on a Thursday, October 23, 1930 in Havana, Texas to Gregorio Mancias and Leonarda Arrechiga Mancias. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Domingo Rodriguez, Sr.
Left to cherish her memories are her son; Domingo (Mary Jane) Rodriguez, Jr., daughter; Maria (Jack) Rodriguez Brooks, sister; Elvira (Victor) Mancias Reyna brothers; Gonzalo and Raciel Mancias, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Nonnie was a loving, caring and hard worker, always providing for her family. She loved frogs, cooking, baking, but her greatest love was supporting her grandchildren in everything. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
A Christian graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Havana Cemetery in Havana, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Danny Rodriguez, Eddie Nega, Donny Nega, Sonny Rodriguez, Elisa Rodriguez, Ariel Rodriguez, Laurie Nega Reid, Robynne Nega and Zachary Edward Nega. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
