Reymunda “Munda” L. Rodriguez, 89, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at her residence in San Carlos, Texas. She was born on May 15, 1921 in Donna, Texas to Ruperto Loredo and Jacinta Zamarron-Loredo.
Mrs. Rodriguez in preceded in death by her parents, husband; Senaido Rodriguez, son; Rodolfo Rodriguez, 9 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Artemio (Odilia) Rodriguez, Raul (Guadalupe) Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, daughter; Eluteria (Gonzalo) Hernandez, 3 sisters, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed by all of her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
The Rodriguez Family will receive friends on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian mass will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Christian burial will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
