Ricardo Dominguez, 82, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Sunday, July 24, 1938 in San Juan, Texas to Rafael Dominguez and Gumesinda Cano. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister; Irma Pochy, brothers-in-law; Domingo Gonzalez, Joe Davila and Richard Pochy.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 55 years; Paz Garcia Dominguez, daughters; Terrie (Fausto) Salinas, Marissa (Nelson) Munoz and Marla (Willie) Hernandez, granddaughters; Mia E. Munoz, Miranda E. Munoz, Milena E. Munoz, Miriela E. Munoz, Gabriella A. Salinas, Melina A. Hernandez and Mereya A. Hernandez, sisters; Teodora Gonzalez, Rosalva Davila and Zoila (Bill) Pochy.
Ricardo lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. He worked at Haggars Company for over 23 years, until his retirement. He enjoyed being outdoors and watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He was a very humble and quiet gentleman who will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 122 West Fay Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be his granddaughters. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
