Ricardo Ruiz

Ricardo “Ricky” Ruiz, 59, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. He was born on Sunday, November 27, 1960 in Edinburg, Texas to Erasmo J. Ruiz and Delia Lopez. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Raul is survived by his sons; Ricardo “Little Ricky” (Jordan) Ruiz and Erik Ruiz, brothers; Erasmo (Gloria) Ruiz, Jr. and Reynaldo (Diana) Ruiz, sister; Sylvia (Jesus) Sanchez, grandchildren; Harlan and Quinn Ruiz and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ricky lived in Edinburg all of his life and enjoyed listening to music, making crafts and fishing lures with his good friend Roberto Pulido. He also collected Popsicle sticks. El Mister as he was affectionately known, worked as a sound engineer for Roberto Pulido Y Los Clasicos for many years. His death leaves a void in the Hearts of many, but his memories will last forever.
His family received friends on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery 3605 Taylor Road McAllen, TX. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Ricardo Ruiz, Jr., Erik Ruiz, Erasmo Ruiz, Jr., Reynaldo Ruiz, Javier Sanchez and Javier Collazo. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
