Santa Cleotilde Rodriguez, 55, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born June 3, 1956 in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico to Roberto Rodriguez and Maria Dolores Pinon. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Santa was a kind-hearted person who was always happy and lived life to the fullest. She loved to play the lottery, cards and Bingo with her children and grandchildren. She loved to take pictures, but her greatest love was her family. She will truly be missed by all of her family, friends and all those who knew her.
Santa is survived by her husband of 21 years; Victor Rodriguez, daughters; Perla Rodriguez, Anastacia Y. (Juan) Hernandez, Celia (Eusebio Garza) Rodriguez, brother; Franscisco Rodriguez, sisters; Petra Torres, Genoveva De La Rosa, 16- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Rodriguez family received friends Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Mass was held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
