Sylvia R Mims

Sylvia R. Mims, 66, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at her residence in Edinburg. She was born on a Thursday, July 29, 1954 in Walla Walla, Washington to Juan Rosalez and Julia Guzman Rosalez. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Jose Manuel Reyes and sister; Maria Alma Macias.
Sylvia is survived by her children, Michael Anthony (Victoria) Mims and Sofia Kristina (Bobby Vasquez) Mims, brothers; Antonio Reyes, Jr, Juan Pablo Rosalez, Roberto Salazar, David Reyes and Samuel Reyes and sisters; Irma R. Gomez and Norma Salazar, 8 grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.
Sylvia enjoyed hanging out with her friends, dancing and traveling. She lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg
