Teresa Cazares, 103, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 1, 1909 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Mr. & Mrs. Francisco Cazares.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Sotero Castilleja, brothers; Francisco Cazares, David Cazares, Juan Cazares and Pedro Cazares, sisters; Flora Cazares and Maria Cazares. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The Cazares family will receive friends, Tuesday, October 02, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian mass will be held Wednesday, October 03, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are her nephews. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
