Valentina Morales, 89, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at San Juan Nursing Home, Inc. in San Juan, Texas. She was born on Monday, September 10, 1928 in Edinburg, Texas to Reyes Morales, Sr. and Maria Sanchez Morales. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Agustin Morales, Eulalia Zamarripa, Clara Montiel, Maria Estella Morales, David Morales, and Juan Morales, sister-in-law; Maximina Morales.
She is survived by her siblings; Eustacia Morales, Matilde Morales, Marcela Morales, Dominga Morales, Reyes (Alma Rosa0 Morales, Jr., Antonio (Alicia) Morales, and Virginia (Rodolfo, Sr.) Rodriguez, sister-in-law; Maria Teresa Morales, numerous nieces and nephews.
Valentina lived in Edinburg all of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She will be missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to say "Thank You" to the nurses and staff of the San Juan Nursing Home for the love and care they provided for their sister.
The Morales family will receive family and friends on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: David Morales, Jr., Daniel Montiel, Rodolfo Rodriguez, Jr., Roel Rodriguez, Edward Morales, and Alberto Morales. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
