Veronica Bargas Benavides

Veronica Bargas Benavides, 48, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. She was born on a Tuesday, August 3, 1976 in McAllen, Texas to Juan Bargas, Jr., and Maria Guadalupe Guerrero-Bargas. She is preceded in death by her brother; Juan Manuel Bargas.

She is survived by her two loving sons; Juan Manuel Benavides and Jasper Cruz Benavides, parents; Juan Bargas, Jr. and Maria Guadalupe Bargas, sister; Sofia Taylor as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Veronica was known to be a loving woman who enjoyed playing games on her tablet and loved going to the movies. She especially loved her children and spending quality time not only with her sons but with her entire family. She will definitely be missed by all those whos lives she touched.

The Bargas family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 for a memorial service from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Services for Veronica will conclude after the memorial service. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
